Boy, 13, dies after falling from 5th floor hotel balcony: Police – Crime Online

A 13-year-old boy died after falling from a hotel balcony in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, police say.
Little information is known at this point, but the Chapel Hill Police Department said the incident happened at the Graduate Hotel off West Franklin Street shortly before 11 p.m. Saturday night.
According to a press release, the child fell from the fifth floor of the hotel and landed on the third floor. The identity of the victim and details surrounding the fall are unclear at this time.

According to WRAL, a 911 caller said he saw the boy struggling to breathe, with visible injuries to his ribs.
“He’s moaning,” a caller told a 911 dispatcher.
