Buffalo Peppers Syndicated Doctor-Columnist’s Covid-19 Vaccine with Questions | Local news

Again, we don’t know what the post-Covid might bring.
Question: Why is there almost no conversation about vitamin D, zinc, or exercise and weight control in this post when we know that at the very least, obesity is a significant comorbidity?
Instead, every post is âget your shot,â as there continue to be threats to lock down the very places that inspire better health – gyms.
A: You’re right that taking vitamin D and zinc, losing weight, and exercising are great lifestyle tips. We closed all gyms before the shots. I think we should open them up, but there should be two types of gyms – one where everyone has to show proof of vaccination and one where no proof is required. Then you can join the gym of your choice. Leave that to the consumer rather than the government.
Question: Beyond your article, I must ask you questions about the pressure to have children âvaccinatedâ. If it is true that they do not spread or suffer serious consequences, why introduce a drug that could migrate to their reproductive organs and their hearts with who knows what future consequences?
A: First, no evidence that vaccinations affect reproductive organs – hogwash. Now children might not get too sick now, but they can get post-Covid syndrome, if it exists later. For my wife, Penny, and me – or the kids vaccinated against measles, mumps, rubella, polio, diphtheria, whooping cough, meningitis, etc. – it’s just another vaccine. Good parents get their children vaccinated regardless of their political beliefs.
