Green Apocalypse | Letters | dothaneagle.com

For decades the powers that be have claimed that the world will end in a few years (they have repeatedly predicted disasters that have not happened since 1970).
Their mantra has always been to push wacky ideas that they fabricated in their burning desire to control every element of our lives – and they end up creating a huge mess in the process. This is happening right now. There have been, in modern times, more than a few anti-humanist organizations pushing the idea that humanity itself is a plague on the surface of the planet, that is, humanity is , in fact, a virus that should be eradicated. They want those of us who survive our man-made apocalypse to live in caves without air conditioning, eating grass and dirt, and drinking rainwater as they rule from their ivory towers. It’s all like a bad movie with a bad ending, if they can manage to cope.
The negative population growth crowd now has full-page ads in news magazines blatantly calling for a massive reduction in the world’s population.
Animal rights activists and environmentalists adhere to this philosophy, but for some reason they are mysteriously silent about the negative elements of “green energy” that go against their manifestos.
The booming infrastructure of wind turbines and solar farms is extremely harmful to wildlife and the environment. Millions upon millions of birds are killed by windmills and solar farms while producing a relatively small amount of energy – more destruction of wildlife than any oil spill – and these farms âGreen energyâ landfills become toxic waste dumps when they stop functioning, worse than any oil spill and more expensive to clean up.
