HALOLIFE and Save the Children Launch Partnership to Protect American Children in Need | state

STEVENSON, Wash., May 11, 2021 / PRNewswire / – HALOLIFE Partners with Save the Children to provide highly effective, well-fitting face masks to help protect American children in need. This partnership comes at a time when millions of children face hunger due to school closures, while their families face income issues and other hardships. While these challenges existed before the COVID-19 and COVID variants, the struggle to enable children to reach their full potential has been made even more difficult. Through this partnership, HALOLIFE and Save the Children will engage in a campaign called HALOLIFE +, an initiative whereby HALOLIFE will donate 20% of mask purchases as well as a donation of masks to support the mission of Save the Children, its staff, its volunteers, as well as American children in need.

“Save the Children is very grateful for this partnership with HALOLIFE and for supporting our continued efforts to protect children, especially in these uncertain times,” said Shane Garver, Senior Director of Rural Education at Save the Children.

“In many ways, our missions are aligned with supporting the health and dignity of humanity,” said Keith Anderson, CEO of HALOLIFE. “We continue to explore innovative ways to serve the world with solutions for healthier living. If we work together it becomes possible mission. “

HALOLIFE, a mission-driven company, was originally created to help protect people living in Bali and South East Asia of toxic volcanic air pollution. When COVID-19 hit, HALOLIFE responded by creating reusable masks that raise the standard for function (protection), fit and fashion, while also giving masks to frontline workers, the homeless and children in need. Unlike other masks, the HALOmasks are double-layered and have added a nano-filter that filters out 99% of airborne particles, including COVID-19.

ABOUT SAVING CHILDREN

Save the Children believes that every child deserves a future. Since our founding over 100 years ago, we’ve changed the lives of over a billion children. In United States and around the world, we’re giving children a good start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. We ensure children have health care, food and shelter, as well as learning and child protection services when children need them most. Through our programming, emergency response and advocacy, we prioritize the most vulnerable children, addressing barriers to survival, learning and protection.
