Investigations continue into two fatal crashes in Liberty and Hud

Police investigations continue into two separate fatal crashes that took place this week.
Thursday, December 16e around 3:52 p.m. New York State Police were called to 482 Stanton Corner Road, near Liberty, New York, in a single vehicle rollover accident.
Mobile medics and the City of Liberty Fire Department were the first to arrive at the scene.
State Police said the driver of a 1995 Dodge Ram truck was driving on Stanton Corner Road and missed the turn, pulled off the road on the north shoulder and rolled over.
The driver was later identified as Robert J. Lands, 18, of Neversink. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators are trying to determine what caused the driver to miss the turn.
In a separate incident that took place on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, State Police were called to the Triform Camphill community in Hudson with an accident report.
When soldiers arrived, they said David H. Wagner, 23, a Triform resident, was killed after being struck “… The incident,” police said, “appears to be accidental in nature. for the moment, but remains an open investigation “.
