Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Announces Transformational Donation to Advance Pediatric Surgery

Nicklaus Children’s Hospital today announced a donation of $ 5 million from the VoLo Foundation – a private family foundation – to support advances in pediatric surgical care and treatment. In recognition of this generous donation, made possible by the co-founders of the VoLo Foundation, David S. Vogel and Thais Lopez Vogel, the hospital will soon designate a “VoLo Foundation cardiology and neurology floor” on the main Nicklaus campus. Children.

The $ 5 million donation will build on Nicklaus Children’s 70-year legacy of pediatric clinical excellence, with support for significant advancements in cutting-edge medical technologies and innovations, medical education and expansion surgical operating theaters that will each help improve patient care for generations to come.
