TA will offer truckers more healthy food options at Country Pride and Iron Skillet restaurants by the end of 2022
TravelCenters of America recently announced a partnership with the Cleveland Clinic to bring more healthy food options to the company’s truck stops nationwide.
In the Sept. 15 announcement, TA said it had entered into a collaboration with respected academic medical center Cleveland Clinic for Truck Driver Appreciation Week.
As part of the new focus on driver health, TA will introduce new healthy meal options to be included on menus at all Country Pride and Iron Skillet full-service restaurants by the end of 2022.
Additionally, TA plans to work with the Cleveland Clinic to develop healthy on-the-go meal and snack options for truckers in its stores.
Cleveland Clinic and TA will also work to educate drivers about healthy food options and healthy lifestyle choices.
