# 1 find a good psychologist

You won’t always click with everyone you meet, but don’t let that stop you from talking to a professional.

You know right away, from the first session, if this is the right psychologist for you. But if not, don’t give up! It pays to find the right fit. It will completely transform your life in the most positive and beautiful way.

# 2 listen to your body

He will always tell you what you need. If you feel tired or exhausted, get some rest. Give yourself permission to sleep, stay in comfortable clothes all day, eat delicious food. Rest is a form of self-care, so stop feeling guilty about having those “lazy” weekends.

# 3 always have a good book

Even if you are a slow reader and can only read one page before you tire and fall asleep.

It’s OK! It’s good for the soul to get lost between the pages of a good book before going to bed

# 4 Take to the air

Whenever I feel overwhelmed, I turn off my phone and go for a walk outside. Sometimes I just go to the park and sit or lie down for a while. Get out of your head and step into nature.

# 5 Journal

Keep a journal next to your bed. It’s a fantastic habit to take every day. Sometimes life is busy and every day might not be realistic. But if you keep it next to your bed, every time you have a racing mind, feel anxious, or can’t sleep because a million things are playing in your mind … write it down.

It’s a very easy way to clear your mind. Also, it’s good to look back to track your thoughts and feelings to see patterns or to remind yourself that anxious thoughts are passing and better days are coming. I love lighting my Believe by Sam Frost x Myles Gray candle and my journal, I find it a beautiful ritual for me.

# 6 sit in silence

Every morning I wake up, brew my coffee, and sit in silence for 20-30 minutes while I drink it. I keep my phone away from me and I stay calm. I find this to be a very effective way to clear my mind and reset it before I start my day.

# 7 stay active

For me personally, when I feel the most mentally healthy is when I exercise regularly. It doesn’t always mean grueling workouts at the gym, it can just be a walk with my dogs around the neighborhood. The fresh air and the movement of my body do wonders for my mental health.

The Myles Gray x Believe By Sam Frost Candle ($ 39.95) is infused with amethyst crystals meant to bring peace, clarity and serene energy and is available now here.
