Your health – Tips for influencing life expectancy

During the 20th century, the average life expectancy has increased by 30 years.

Advances in education, health care, disease prevention and treatment are important factors, but daily habits and past circumstances can also influence the length of your life.

Maintaining a healthy weight is well known to help you live a long, healthy life.

However, according to the National Institute of Aging, women who are too plump in the middle are 20% more likely to die sooner, even if their body mass index is normal.

Working out two or three 20-minute strength training sessions in your weekly exercise regimen can preserve lean muscle mass and boost your metabolism.

Eating a healthy diet can also reduce inflammation and reduce the fat stored in your belly.

“Something that is well balanced, where there is a lot of natural food, a lot of veg,” said Jose Santana, MD, MPH, international physician.

In particular, purple fruits and vegetables reduce the risk of cancer and memory problems.

“An anthocyanin is an antioxidant that gives food the color purple. That purple color is what’s so healthy, ”said Mary Mcalary, Certified Holistic Health Coach at New Day One Life Nutrition.

Additionally, a Dutch study found that adding ten grams of fiber can reduce your risk of dying from heart disease by 17%. Doing your own household chores for an hour can burn 285 calories, reducing your risk of death by 30%.
